Dang it's HOT!!!

I shall give up my traditional orange text color for RED today. Dang it's hot. Have been in the house all day, except to run to the grocery store. I hate cold weather, so I shall not complain about 100 degrees.

Can't believe June is almost behind us. The kids will be back in school before we know it. And best of all FOOTBALL will begin again. Everyone in the town starts talking about the upcoming season, as soon as school is out.

Have had a house of teens today....least they are all here and not out in trouble someplace! One of them just asked Danny if he'd moved from his chair all day. I refrained from answering for him.

XOXO,
Pam

P.S. Chelsey gets her license tomorrow, if she can parallel park that is. Wonder why on earth they still have that as part of the driving test? Gosh knows it's a rarity these days to park that way.

Choctaw run

Made a run to Choctaw tonight....that place is WAY to close to our house. Danny and I made it there in 49 minutes. Amazing when all the road construction is completed, just how fast the trip is. And NO, didn't win, but enjoyed it as always.

Colby at Tylers. Lauren here with Chelsey. Everyone one is safe and sound!

A week full of "ifs"

We've had quite the week here at the Fenter Funny Farm. First, let me state that NO ONE was injured..... And the run down is....

IF PaPa Danny let's two certain little boys ride the Kubota's...they might just roll one of them on it's side.

IF a certain son drives 45 mph down a white rock road....he might slide and gently smack a tree.

IF a certain daughter and her boyfriend have a disagreement and said boyfriend throws keys into daughter's jeep....they might bust the covering in the dash that goes over the speedometer and gauges.

IF you look at our youngest daughters FB profile....you might see "is no longer in a relationship" and then check out the boyfriends...you might see the same thing.

IF that same daughter goes job hunting with a friend and the friend gets stopped for speeding (60 in a 45) and said daughter has her feet up in the seat....the cop might chew her up over it.

IF you arrive at my office before 6am...you MIGHT get soaked by the sprinklers shockingly coming on at the moment you get near the building.

IF you receive a picture via text of a beautiful beach...it MIGHT be your Aunt and Mom taunting you.

IF one arrives home on Thursday afternoon, to an empty house....someone must have forgotten to tell you about your youngest grandson's birthday party.

IF we have another week like this, Carla and Paul are taking the kids and I'll pay child support.....

IF you are smiling at this point, I'm glad someone is....because I am not.

Happy Friday to everyone.....

Tired...

Tonight, I've got nothing. I think my full day Sunday including the entire afternoon out at the pool have officially kicked my butt. Off to bed early tonight.

Mom, I hope you are having a great time! Megan, I LOVE the picture of Jeff and Hayden at the beach and the story about the book will always be very special to you. Carla, I LOVE you.... And to anyone else visiting our blog, night night, I'm off for the night.

A great Father's Day...

Father's Day 2010 is coming to an end, and although it is a day for the guys, I too had a great time! Up at a little before six this morning, shower and hit the road to Emory to take Daddy to breakfast. After eating at Chubby's, we went to his buddy Tazz's house (what a character!) for Katalva (okay it's not spelled right, but that's how we say it!) Worms. Tazz had a few as his house, then we went to another house on Ravine Street for more. He climbed the tree and shook it. We got showered with worm poop and worms....
Here's one of the trees that did NOT have worms,
but at least we found others with lots to knock down with a fishing pole.
I think this picture made Carla squirm a bit!

I bagged up 141 worms (this is only 50) in corn meal.
We'll see if they really do go "dormant" and come back
to life when I thaw them out from the freezer.
Can't wait to fish with them!
After our great worm hunt, we went to the Woosley Cemetery
to place flowers at Douglas' grave. Miss you Doe!
Afterwards we stopped and saw Uncle Raymond and Aunt Sharon
for a few minutes. Still can't believe Jeff, Megan and Hayden's house,
very sad to see all their stuff outside, but glad they are all safe!

After leaving there, we headed to Lone Oak, so that Daddy could drive Mom's
car home from Aunt Barbara and Gary's house.
Had a great time with you Daddy....we'll do it again sometime.
Happy Father's Day, love you!
Drove back to Celina, to spend the day with Danny, Colby, Chelsey,
Ashley, Tazz, Colton, Dylan, Asa and Dallas.
Great day for burgers, margaritas, and sunning in the pool.

I'd say it was a great Father's Day....

XOXO, Pam

My other son....

My other son Tyler was about to get a new name.....Twyla! Just look at how long his hair had gotten. After much harrassing by Danny and I, he finally gave into "Clipper Man" Danny.....
This is what Danny cut off!

And afterwards, he looked like my other son,
instead of my other daughter!

Tagging on to Carla's post

Megan, Jeff and Hayden, I was as surprised as Carla to read Aunt Sharon's email this morning. And agree with her, should you need ANYTHING at all, let us know. Glad the photos memories were saved...And thankful you have a blog, that a fire couldn't get too!

Busy busy busy Thursday. No comments on my Texas accent today! Can't believe tomorrow is Friday again, but not complaining.
