Yes... I am now 44!

What a blast I have had over the last 24+ hours. First, a trip to Choctaw with Sharon. No big win, but we had a great time! The office gave me tickets to the Cowboy game today, so off we went, this afternoon, to tailgate and go to the game. Can I just say, the CBS Radio Suite was FANTASTIC!

It's all about football these days..... Here's a shot of Colby at the Ferris scrimmage in Garland. And then there is our other son Tyler, who managed to tear his ACL a couple of weeks ago, so he's sidelined for a couple of months.

First day of school!

Hard to believe the kids are now officially in 10th Grade. The classes get tougher every year. Homework is more of a challenge. Hope I can still remember Geometry, Mr. Sledge is looking down from heaven shacking his head, I'm sure. What a time that man had with ME in that class oh so many years ago.

2009 - First Football Scrimmage

Saturday, August 15th, was the traditional football scrimmage in Celina. Against Lovejoy. All did well. Tyler was out, due to a torn ACL on Thursday, so my 2nd son is on crutches, meds and a brace for a couple of months. :-( Least he spent the weekend with us, so I could watch over him! Cooked a big dinner tonight of steak, shrimp, baked potato, and salad. Think I'll turn in early, to start another busy week at the office... PF

Day one in pads....

Week one of two a days is now history.... Today was "hit day" for the first time this season. It's fun to watch! Will not be long before we are in a sea of orange each week... Please let us go all the way to Christmas!

Today was the first day of practice in pads for the Football boys.... Amazing just how many people go to the field just to watch them hit. Of COURSE I was there too. Can't wait till the season starts....

My two favorite little guys...

Dylan and Colton came for a visit this afternoon. They played in the pool, played pool and with Lily and Rascal. Notice both have mowhawks, which I am sure will not be there in about three weeks, when school starts.
