Jason, Kim, Taylor and Brooke came up Sunday to visit, swim and fish. Colton and Dylan stopped by with Ashley and Tazz. Didn't catch very many fish, but had a good time trying. Of course the kids enjoyed the pool.

Yep, it says 107 degrees.... I may just try and fry an egg on the patterened concrete around the pool in a bit...

Just made a round trip to Choctaw (don't ask if I won), and on way home (which takes 55 minutes from parking lot to drive way) I snapped photos of the temp reading in my car.

Borrowed the photo from another Bobcat Mom's post.... Very please to report that the Bobcats took it again at College Station in 7 on 7 Football!!!! Reports are that Jose Romero was voted MVP.

Please note that when Celina wins 7 on 7 in the summer, Fall football is typically VERY exciting deep into December!!!!

July 4th, 2009 Holiday

A trip to Cliffeene and Steve's new lake home was how we spent the 4th of July. They have a nice mfg home in the VFW Subdivision of Lake Texoma. As soon as we got there, we got in the boat with Ashley and Tazz and headed to "The Islands" for an afternoon of sun and sand. Notice there are no photos, this is for two reasons, one, camera nor phone would have survived wading out into the water to get in the boat and most of the photos of the island would have been X Rated. Not sure I've ever seen that many boats in one area, nor that much skin, not even sure why some even bothered with the strap lines of a bathing suit. Even a few guys in Speedos. Had a blast... BUT, I think I'm too old for this sort of stuff, as I had to have two naps on Sunday to recover!

I just can't resist adding pictures of the funny signs we saw during our recent trip to the lake.

Short Trip to Lake Texoma

Danny, Colby, Chelsey, Shelby and I left on Tuesday and just returned home on Thursday.... Texoma is beautiful, but not very much to do with it is raining, so we packed up and day early and headed to home sweet home! We stayed at Flowing Wells Resort and Marina in a cabin at Sunset Village. You'll see in the photos, the reason it's called Sunset Village.

Mini 1983 Class Reunion

First, let me say that I am awaiting photos from several to post on our blog, but I wanted to go ahead update on those who attended our Mini Class of '83 Reunion on Saturday, June 27th, at the Fenter Funny Farm. Samantha Lara Schwartz traveled the furthest to join the gang, she's in Tennessee now. Others attending were Patty Strebeck Harford, Cherry Garner Alexander, Tara Barnes Whittington, Sandy Hartog Shelton, Reene Harris Shedd, Paula Pogue Malone, Cindy Sellers (who was fantastic for picking Sam up from the airport and enjoying our trip down memory lane!)

We laughed, ate, drank a little, laughed some more and talked about old times, our current lives, our kids, grandkids, pets, hubby's, ex-hubbys, jobs, wrinkles... The list goes on and on.

Once I receive the group photos we took, I'll add to the post. There was definately lots of discussion about doing it again, as all had a great time!
