First....I have to say Happy Father's Day to my Daddy. You looked great today! So glad to see you getting back to your old self. Enjoyed seeing you and Mom at the reunion. And thank you for the pole. I stopped and got a new reel for it and it will not fit, so I plan to try again before you come back up to fish with me. I fished this afternoon for about 45 minutes. Caught a giant turtle and a perch. Too hot for such little success.
Next, Happy Father's Day to My hubby Danny. Burgers, hot dogs and pool side are the plan. Not planning to leave the house at all! Ashley and all the boys are coming over. Should be lots of fun. Hopefully we do not roast out by the pool.
Next, to a special man that is not here to hug for Father's Day....love to you Douglas. Hope you and Bobbie Jo are up there playing canasta and enjoying watching over all of us. I can see you chuckling at Kentlee pooping by the trash can. Bobbie's shoulders are probably bouncing as she laughs. Miss you both!
Next....Happy Father's Day to my brother in law Paul. Thank you for making my beautiful sister and niece so happy! Hope your Father's Day is a great one. You are a special guy Paul Bradshaw!
Now...off to bed I go. Got to be up and make breakfast for Danny in the morning. Surely I can make an omelette without it falling apart...
Love to all!

TGIF!
Another long week! Again, I am glad it is Friday. Not much going on this week, except the kids running around all day, planning for Father's Day and work work work...
Funny work stories this week (someday I shall write a book). Mr Martin is buying a condo in Florida...young guy, first house. Sold originally in 2005 for $235,000.00. Foreclosure now, selling for $62,900.00. This is $10,000.00 over the listing price of $52,900.00. Hummmm...so I ask him why so much over, his reply is "because it was the only way to get it.". I run comps, we do an appraisal, check Zillow.com and come up with a value of $51,000.00 to $52,000.00. He's MAD that I say this range...proceeds to say that the condos are selling for more now and that the market is back in Florida. I explain that we feel our value is solid, and that he is welcome to pay more than it is worth, but instead of needing $5k down, he'll need to have $16k. Well....he doesn't want to do that! He tells me to put the loan on hold until he finds another lender. Got it buddy...geez!
Next, appraisal in Iowa, house covered in mold...ceiling is black, walls black, and flooring is black....WHAT is the customer thinking? Single Mom with little ones. House is being gutted and repaired....sounds like a tear down to me!
We have to verbal employment within 10 days of closing, to make sure customer is still employed....the answer to one of these calls the other day was "oh he quit to house hunt.". Really? I mean come on!
Again....someday I shall write a book on my mortgage stories!
Dallas Morning News yesterday...Shelby C Area Player of the Year. This makes me smile....that girly is a sweetie and plays one heck of a game of softball. So proud of her!
Off to get ready for work, hope everyone has a wonderful Father's Day!

A lazy Sunday...
woke up before seven....listened to Danny snore for a half hour and went back to bed. Woke up again to the smell of bacon....Chef Danny was cooking!!! So, breakfast at 10:30 it was. Then we hit our chairs. He had it on the History Channel (can't you feel my excitement). We watched for a little bit and he went back to bed....to snore some more! I listened to it for an hour and finally headed out to Anna for Minnows, may as well fish! Anna store was closed, dang it, so i text Tyler to ride with me to Pilot Point....he was still sleeping. So....i went by myself. Arrived home to find Danny in the pool and Colby in my bed snoring. Put on my bathing suit and got in the pool for about 5 minutes, then hauled the minnows down to the pier before they boiled in the minnow bucket. Back up to the pool and now Danny is laying out in his speedo, snoring, in a patio chair. I think the heat kicked his butt this week! Or....could it be that we both saw midnight Friday and Saturday? Could be both....
Last night we went to the movies.....Hangover 2 was pretty good....not as good as the first, but still pretty funny. I recommend! Then we headed to Prosper for a Margaritta at Ernesto's. Yum! Did that ever hit the spot.
Now, here i sit, under the patio, bathing suit on, flip flops, hat and a cold beer.....ahhhh.... Love lazy Sunday afternoons. Even if i do have to listen to snoring from every direction...Duke is doing at this very moment.
Mavs could finish it tonight....cant wait for the game, but dont want the weekend to end either. Busy week ahead! Going to Chicago the next week for 2 days....wish Oprah was still filming, but she's not, so i will have to find something else to get into.
Ohhhhhh...also need your ideas on something. I plan to start a second blog in the next few weeks. It will be used to cronical Chelsey and Colby's Senior Year. I need a catchy name....post your suggestions here or email me at PFe082965@aol.com with BLOG suggestions in the subject line, since i really do not know who all visits us here.... The plan is to blog from August until June and then make a book out of the blog for each of them. I plan to have a friend take photos of an orange and a white cap and gown, tassle, signs around town, stores, mall, etc., so that 20-30 years from now, it's a memory book like no other. Send me your ideas.....10 months of blogging, all the hassel involving the tassel, Cronicals of the Fenter Duo, 2012 or BUST, May 31, 2012 count down.....you get the idea. Now, help me out with a nifty name. I'll give you credit on the blogs first post...

Still here!!!!
Good evening all....sorry i have missed a few days. I managed to pull a muscle in my shoulder on Monday and have been nursing it since Tuesday morning. Much better today, i can actually lift my elbow up a little, without throwing up. Yesterday if i moved wrong...pain shot thru my back, and i'd break into a sweat and feel naucious. Not good, but again, much better today.
The kids have enjoyed their first few days of Summer. We've only had a couple of major disagreements on the summer rules. We'll get better as time progresses.... Oh and Colby got his ears pierced. I'm not too worried about it, the Coaches will have them out Monday morning, when he starts summer work out. That dang kid....he just tries to keep me stirred up!
Off to watch the Mavs. Love to all. Pam

A winning weekend...
Well, as i type this, the Mavs are getting beat, but there were a couple of other wins......
Celina Lady Cats WON STATE yesterday......they beat West 5-1. I thought about going but was tired from getting in late Friday night. So...instead of listening to it in the computer, i took a two hour nap and missed the whole thing! I woke up to. Facebook post that ghey won it! Shelby was voted MVP. So proud of her! She just has a k ack for softball....a lot of fun to watch.
The next winner was Colton today.....that little guy did so good! He played on the All Star Team in McKinney at 1m today....yes, it was 100 degrees, but thank goodness the bleachers had a cover! He got a double and batted in 3 his second time at bat. I think we have many years of baseball watching with that kiddo. I also think Colton had the biggest fan crowd. ;-)
As for yesterday, Danny and i tried to bar hop last night. Chaucer's in Allen was the first stop. Chaucer's Suschi and Grill....i am NOT a sushi fan....fish was meant to be fried as far as i am concerened. We had an appetizer and headed down the road to The Venue Bar and Grill. One beer later i get a text that everyone is gathering at the high school to welcome the softball team home...so.....we bolt to Celina. The firetruck is there to spray water over the bus....several people were there to cheer when they unloaded from the bus. We also got to see the big State Champion Trophy! Then.....we headed to Anna, to Swaggers Bar and Grill....we get there and all the chairs are stacked on the tables. So...we head to Taco Bell, defeated by our attempt at a night out and their doors are locked. Soooooo....we get in the car and come home. And...the party was at OUR house. 20+ in the pool when we got here....so i popped a beer open and stayed up until 2am with all of them. We shouldnt have tried so hard to find a good place to relax....oir patio is the best spot within 20 miles.....i think we shall call it The Fenter Funny Farm Bar and Grill.
Soooo....next weekend we are going to the Catfish Races near Texoma....remember when we went last year and they had put tap water in the races lanes and all but one catfish had died? Maybe this year they will think to get lake water for the big races!

Congrats to Morgan and Robin!
Congrats to Robin and Morgan on your Graduation last night.....so proud of you! Now we get to be spectators as you start the next chapter of your life. Cant't wait...
Saturday re-cap...up and out to tan early. Back home to listen to the girls game on the computer. It went 11 innings tied 3-3 until Shelby hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the 11th. Yes, i did scream in my own living room! Today at 2pm they play for state. I think i shall watch it on our big screen instead of driving to Austin. After the game was over Chelsey and i ran to Frisco and back. Home at 5pm, which was just enough time to change and head to Emory. Home at 12:15am this morning. Another reason an 8+ hour round trip car ride does not sound too good today. Maybe Hooters will put just ONE of their 50 tv's on the game.
I wore myself out last weekend fishing, so this weekend i shall only spend a short time on the pier. Colton was selected for the All Stars in baseball, so tomorrow will be spent at a ball field in McKinney, can't wait to watch that little guy!
Have a great Saturday!
Pam

The last....
As i sit at home tonight, thinking about Morgan graduating tomorrow amd Celina Seniors graduating tonight, all i can think about is that everyday is "the last" with Chelsey and Colby....
Tomorrow when we wake up they will officially be Seniors. Never ever thought i'd make it to this day to type that. I know they will not disappear, go too terribly far, or forget their dear ole Mom....but it will be different in a year. Let me be very clear, i do NOT want to turn back time, i'd just like to slow it a bit, so we can savor every minute. The messy rooms, fights over gas money, Saturday school days, text asking "can you, will you, i need...", Sunday tv (Swamp people, LOL), requests for chicken and rice, watching colby eat a box of cereal just before dinner, watching Chelsey fret over her hair/clothes/shoes etc., and most of all the replies to their text every single morning, they always say "love you too" no matter what we may have had happen the night before. Soon i shall write about Senior pictures, notes in their final yearbook, ordering their cap and gowns, their last first day of high school, last football game, last Xmas as high schoolers, last Prom, last spring break....the list is endless, but my love for those two is not! My babies have grown up, and although not perfect, they are pretty dang good kids. In spite of their Daddy's blood. Hahahahaha...
Yep, i am feeliing a little old, a little sentimental and a little bit of pride tonight....next year at this time, we will be throwing a BIG PARTY!!!
Love you too Chelsey and Colby,
Mom
