Triplets!

While Chelsey and Colby were in the hospital...18 years ago, there were also Triplet Girls in the Baylor NICU. All blonde....precious little girls. They went home before the kids and I have wondered over the years how they are,where they are, etc... I'd bet their parents are counting down the days till Graduation, times THREE. Buying prom Dresses, times THREE. Paying for "failure to come to a complete stop" tickets. Three vehicles. Three cap and gowns. Three boxes of graduation invitations. Three colleges to worry about. Now.....after reading all that three times, TWO times all the above doesn't seem too bad. The good lord knew that our house would be full of joy and challenges with just two. Thank goodness there wasn't three....

A quiet weekend.

We had a very quiet Easter Weekend. No eggs colored, no eggs hidden, just more rain... Can't believe I didn't color a single egg for Easter. That's a first in many many many years. Cooked yesterday, ham, corn, pasta and potatoes. Nothing fancy. Cleaned house for 4 hours and had everything sparkling. Laundry done as well so, when I went to bed last night, not a thing was out of place. Luckily no one wrecked that today. Chelsey and Colby were home, so there was every possibility! Colby ordered his prom tux today. Chelsey still says she is borrowing a dress. My how things change with Prom #3 Remember Promzilla? Oh....and no limo, she'll be going in Randy Travis' tour bus. Yes, THE Randy Travis.

Watching the news...more rain coming. Considering my car looks like a golf ball from last weeks hail storm, I guess it doesn't matter if it gets hit again...as long as no glass gets broken

Off to watch tv. Megan....I do not have the recipe, but Mom does. Get the chocolate one from her too, it's my favorite and I LOVE them straight out of the oven....piping hot. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

And for those keeping record.....tomorrow is 2 months since I had my last cigarette. ;-)

Can't believe it!

Had a good day with Chelsey and Colby celebrating their 18th birthday. They got home from school and opened their gifts (perfume/cologne and cash). The cash included a noted that said they are now legal to sign contracts, get married, vote, gamble and get tattoos. I then put a note inside....what's you choice? I'm ready. So...off to the tattoo place we went. First one was booked. Second one had just opened so we were first.....Colby got a cross and Chelsey a feather. Will post pictures tomorrow since I can not figure out how to do it on my iPad. We picked up dinner and came home. Watched American Idol, had cake and were all in Bed by 10pm. Danny had to work late so he missed all the fun.


A little under the weather today....headed to doctor soon and then back to bed.

Beautiful weather

Finally a gorgeous weekend! Loving the sunshine. Chelsey is at Ashley's. Colby is snoozing. Dogs are in the back yard. All quiet inside....

Celina's mile relay won at the Texas Relays yesterday in Austin. Fastest time in the nation and beating 4 and 5A schools.

2 months from yesterday is graduation. Wedneesday is 18th birthday for C and C. Wow...

Wow...it's been a week!

Yes....we are still here! It's been a very busy week for all of us at the FFF. Just got home from work and I am home alone. Ahhhh, silence is golden. Colby is at a bb game. Chelsey and Danny are on their way home. The dogs are basking in the sunshine and the weather is absolutely perfect at the moment.

A little bit of East Texas

Blew out of town Thursday night and headed East...to visit sister, BIL and Morgan. And surprise Mom and Dad with a visit. But that didn't go so well...when they surprised us with a visit to Carla's today with Aunt Barbara. We walked the streets of Winnsboro (all 2 of them) and then headed home to see Dad and Paul. Then off to dinner and back to work over at Daddy Shy's house. Now I lay on the couch under the best blanket In East Texas watching basketball, listening to Morgan harass her Mom. Good to see everyone. Tomorrow will be a chocolate pie and trip home so Danny and I can go to the Mavs game.
