Randomness...

This is post #2 for tonight....I've titled this one randomness, because there are a few things that have made me say hummm... in the past couple of days, so here we go.

Hum....will he REALLY retire this time?

Chelsey said "Hummm, ice cream sure sounds good",
so off to Braum's she and I went, in Van Alstyne

Hummm...why would ONE of our two cedar trees die?
If you look around, as your driving down the road, there
are random dead ones here and there, not just ours.
Hummm...Duke likes to drag up BIG limbs....I've looked at this tree
for two days, wondering if he could have possibly...today I finally ask Danny about it
and he says Dallas brought it over. Hummm, very strange.
Hummm....why on earth would Colby drive down the SIDE of our driveway?
(See the tracks in the grass?)
So that he doesn't get sand on his truck of course! Forget that he smacked
a tree driving down a white rock road a couple of weeks ago.
Hum....it's been a while since I've seen 106 on my outside temp gauge in my car
in my car. I should have taken a picture of the clock, this was at 5:10pm
when I left work!!! First time in almost 3 months that I've left "on time!"

That's the end of my randomness for today.

The Boys of Fall

If you love football as much as I do, this video will make you smile. In the first minute, it shows a team in a circle, they all go down on their stomach at the same time and then back up. That's CELINA!!!! They are on there a bunch in the first couple of minutes and random after that. I CAN NOT WAIT for football season to start!!!!

Go to espnrise.com and click on the #3 down the left hand side, it's 8 minutes, but I smiled the entire time I watched it.

Day two of Two-A-Days....Colby puked, BUT he wasn't the first to do it, he was second... 104 degrees, I'd puke too.

It's a Monday...

Transformer hit or down in the office over night....so, we have no systems this morning. NOT good, but they are working on them.

Colby started Two-A-Days this morning...I just text him with "Puke or no Puke" and he replied "No puke" which is a good thing! This afternoon may be a different story though, going to be really hot!

Ring ring....goes the phone at 11:40pm last night...

Ring ring....hear stopping ring at 11:40pm last night....bolt from my room and Danny is already putting on his clothes. It seems that Colby SOMEHOW had a flat in McKinney. I had taken my knock out pills and decided to stay home instead of getting out for a retrieve our son adventure. I get up this morning to find a tire in the back of his truck, with a gash right down the center. The tire above is a NEW one...least it was minor. Still scary to have the phone ring and the kids both be out.

Car shopped today, keeping the Lexus for now.

Off to have fajitas with Danny and see the Egg Farm in Prosper, that supposedly exploded today. Might find one giant omelet!

Yes...we're still here!

Okay, so I've missed a few days posting.... let 's see, this week Colby has spent the night with friends, Chelsey has been to Six Flags, woke up this morning by Chelsey to say Colby was GONE...let's jsut say I'll bet that doesn't happen again. Yes, he was safe at Tyler's byt he fully understands that permission is a requirement.

One of the ladies that works at Centex had twin boys today....maybe it's in the water over there, but they are early, she was in her 26th week. Two tiny little boys, one weighs 1 pound 12 ounces and the other 2 ounces. I had crocodile tears streaming down my face as I read the text mid day, from my friend Kyle, who also is with Centex and has twins (see what I mean about the water). They were born at just after 11am and are in NICU at Presbyterian Plano. Although not terribly close to Laura at all, my heart aches for she and her hubby. Wouldn't ever wish that worry on anyone. So....I'll say a little prayer tonight for two tiny little boys that came into this world much earlier than planned.

Danny and Colby cleaned out the garage today....dirt dabbers and spiders had made a nice home. Was nice to see it really clean when I got home.

Danny has a burn permit (we live in the country, but Collin County figures out a way to permit everything!) to very soon, our 4 brush piles should be gone! Couple more people have driven down the driveway to check out the house. Staying positive, hate to lower the price yet...

Hope all is well with our followers out there. It's crazy busy month end for me. 3 months from yesterday Danny and I will celebrate our 20 year anniversary. 1 month from tomorrow I'll be 45. Ugh...where does the time go! OH, and my beautiful sister will be FORTY in November....that, my friends and family, makes me smile. :-)

Thanks goodness tomorrow is.......Thursday. Friday would be better, but hey, at least it's not Monday.

XOXO,
Pam

Got me an....

Got me an iPad! Probably have to wait until Chelsey gets home to figure out how to use it, LOL. Been a while since I've had a new toy, last one was my Kindle for Christmas. Didn't go to Choctaw, so I deserved something!

A date with one of my two beautiful daughters...

Just waiting for 8:30 to roll around, so I can wake Princess Chelsey up. We have a date this morning for a manicure/pedicure. Of course she has to have her sleep first! After our feet and nails are all pretty (or as pretty as mine can be with no toe nails) we're going to Souper Salad. Can't wait to have a little time with her all to my self. Let's see if we can do it without a cross word... :-)

Dinner with Danny, Chelsey and Dallas last night and for the second night in a row Skipbo at our house. Dallas did a little better this time. Colby was of course out and about with Tyler and his buddy that has moved back to Celina, Chad. Appears I'm now back to "My Three Sons" Mom again, four is you count Dallas. Tis okay, because I love those guys! Just a little tougher to keep up with, the higher the number goes.

Dallas had his Senior pictures taken this week. Not sure what our house will be like when he's off at college. The Princess will likely be the wicked witch...

Wanted to run to Choctaw last night, but couldn't get off early, and then it was pouring rain at 5pm, so I hung out at the office for another hour, waiting for the downpour to stop. Danny says "If it's going to rain ANYWHERE, it rains in Lewisville" and I'm beginning to think that's true.

Saw Colton, Ashley and Tazz at Crow's Nest (our fav hole in the wall restaurant in Anna). Colton was full on mow hawk! He's so dang cute....love that he gives Ashley fits sometimes. Makes me smile. Danny tried to get him to come home with us, and he said NO, I'm going home to play basketball. His soon to be football coach stopped by to see him several days ago and informed him that he's going to be quarterback. Apparently he was on cloud nine! Just doesn't seem possible that he's 7 now. Dylan was with Cindy and Randy last night, having fun with his cousins I'm sure. Sure do love those little guys...and you too Ashley!

5 minutes till I wake the Princess...better get myself ready for that. Hope everyone has a great day.

Love, Pam
