Saturday....Last day of Winter!!!

Yesterday, flip flops and capris.... Today? Sweats and parka practically. Possible SNOW tonight....Come on SUMMER, again SICK of the cold!

Follow up to belly button piercing trip.....FINALLY SUCCESS today. She squeezed my hand so hard, while having it done, that I had marks on it until we got home, BUT Chelsey is now a happy camper, with an early birthday present....pink belly button ring!

Also took Colby, better known as our human eatting machine, to WalMart this morning. TIRED of hearing "I'm hungry..." Soooo, he had free reign to pick out what ever he wanted. At least to a point that I thought our freezer would hold all of it. I think we might be good for a few days.....least I hope so!

Off to watch basketball now.... For the record, I completed a bracket and picked Villenova and Vanderbilt at the final game....both have already been eliminated. Oh well, maybe next year I'll do better!

Last Day of Winter

Friday, March 19th, was the last day of winter.... 70+ degrees and beautiful. Lunch with Chelsey and Colby at Genghis Grill in McKinney. Then off we went to TRY and get Chelsey's belly button pierced.. First attempt, NO ID....not happening. Second attempt (after Dallas brought her wallet from Celina to McKinney), NO PHOTO ID....not happening. She was terribly disappointed!

Returned home from McKinney and headed, where else? Choctaw with my friend Kyle. It was her first time to go there, and she was SO excited. The new hotel is now complete, and I must say, it is VERY Vegas style... Absolutely beautiful! Arrived back home just after midnight. Had a blast!

Great day...lunch with the girls and a track meet

Couple of days behind on posts..... Monday went to a Salvage Yard near downtown with a friend. Found a door, she's going to make a desk out of it. Was fun to get out of the house. Monday night, had dinner with a dear friend and met a new friend. Maybe a job, we shall see....

Tuesday, never left the house. Gloomy cool day. I'm DEFINATELY a sunshine person.

Wednesday, St Patrick's Day, worked out this morning. Back home for a bit, then ran into McKinney with Danny, to get fertilizer for the yard, lunch at Hooter's (had a green beer, above), ran into Bath and Body Works for lip balm, Starbucks and back home.

Sunshine and wind!

Saturday consisted of sunshine and wind! Love the first one, do not care too much for the second one. We had to round up all the four legged kids and take them all to the vet at 8am. Bath, groom, and shots. Worked out while the other two kids were at Driver's Ed. Ate breakfast at Lucy's. Visited Joenetta Eubank for a little while, picked up all the animals and headed home Kyle, Gracen (just turned 10), Brody and Olivia (the twins will be 4 soon) came over at about 2pm and we played outside and sat in the garage and talked for a while. After they went home, Danny and I took off for Allen, to have dinner at Nate's. Back home and then to bed. Loved the sunshine, but HATED the wind!

Friday...Spring Break Begins!!!

Can hardly believe it's Spring Break Time again.... Next thing we know school will be out. The kids got out of school today at 12:50pm. Colby went to work out. Chelsey and I headed to Frisco for some girl time.... We went to look at sandals/flip flops, at DSW, and hit the jackpot for our sizes. Thought we'd get a pair or two, we'll let's just say I got TWO, Chelsey on the other hand got a few more than that. We had lunch at MooYaahs! After that it was mani/pedi/brow time. After an hour of pampering, we stopped by Kohls, to get Colby a few pair of shorts. Mission accomplished, then we had to RACE home so Chelsey could get ready for Friday night with Dallas. She's home now, Danny's snoring, Colby's snoring and I'm headed that way shortly!

Spring Break antics to follow, I'm sure!
