8 Wisdom Teeth!

Chelsey and Colby had the pleasure of having their wisdom teeth
extracted today. Colby's doing great, hungry as usual. Chelsey
is not doing so hot. She's having pain and just not feeling well.
Just talked to the Dentist again, and he said to put warm water
on a small tea bag and put it on the side that hurts. She opted for
another pain pill and an ice pack first. Tea bag will be next, if she's not better soon. We shall see what the night brings!
Actual teeth. Chelsey's on the left (multiple pieces)
and Colby's on the right.
Colby making it to the car with THREE people
making sure he didn't fall!
He was OUT like a light....
Chelsey had a little rougher time..
Chelsey enjoyed the IV induced sleep!
I'm sure I'll add an update or two before this is over!
Off to make two milkshakes...

Road Trip...

Danny and I set out mid afternoon for a Jeep Road Trip. He asked, "Where shall we go?" My reply? "Surprise me....." So, we took off on Preston Road headed North to Gunter, cut over West to Tioga and then North on 377. Drove around Lake Texoma for a bit. Where did we end up? Madill, Oklahoma...
Here are a few photos:

We're going back to see this next weekend!

A bar we stopped at,
just over the Oklahoma border,
home of the catfish races!
The name of this place was worth taking a picture of the sign,
the crushed cars are below.
Madill Courthouse

Least we can say we've been there!

Cowboys Stadium

First of all NO, we didn't go see George Strait:

After much hype and a bizillion dollars, the new Cowboys Stadium finally opened Saturday night with King George, Reba, and a few more... I managed to be in the area a couple of times during construction of the monsterous place, and it's a site to be hold. Can't wait to be INSIDE for a Cowboys game in the future! Or better yet, a Celina State Football Game... :-)
Too bad It's not called DALLAS Cowboy Stadium... As far as I'm concerned, two former Mayors of Dallas caused that BIG mistake!

Update on Topsy Turvy progress

Very pleased to report that the Topsy Turvy fad appears to have not been a waste of money! We actually have a couple of little green tomatoes in progress!

Addition to our beautiful money pit...

Solar Screens are now installed. They look really good and the house already seems cooler inside. Now considering adding radiant barrier and a wind mill system for electricity.... Winning the lottery would sure help our cause!

A buzz cut and naked in the pool

Please note there is no photo, but I'll get one next time. Tazz, Ashley, Colton, Dylan and Maverick (their Lab) visited today. For the past several years, the boys have had their hair buzz cut by Papa Danny, so that they can swim "butt naked" as Colton says, in the pool. Today was the day, much to Ashley's dismay. Danny cuts it to about a quarter of an inch long, and they still have 4 days of school left! As always, they stripped and hit the pool. The grin on Colton's face is priceless each time this ritual occurs, and Danny enjoys making Ashley frown over it. Photos next time, I promise!

Off to bed I go now, back to work tomorrow, after a busy weekend of fun and yard improvements.

XOXO,
Pam
