Sunglasses!!!

I wore my sunglasses to and from work today.....this may not sound like a big deal, but to me, it means i left home at 7am (daylight) and just got home a little after 6pm (still daylight!). Working long hours makes me miss sunshine...and my sunglasses!

Headed to registration for the kids at 7pm. Senior year, here we come! Well as long as we finish the next 60 days or so that is.

Glad tomorrow is Friday. Going to Emory sometime this weekend. Probably Saturday afternoon, but will confirm. Chelsey wants to Prom dress shop, since she is the ONLY one that hasn't gotten a dress yet.... i am not looking forward to Promzilla again!

Havent talked to Ashley all week, i guess the boys have been good. No texts letting me know otherwise.

Notes to a few: Jeannine, its time for a new post. Megan, i hope your having fun with Jennifer. Carla, i agree, pay phones are few and far between these days. Mom and Daddy, i'll let you know when i am heading down. Love to all.

A windy Sunday!

First...let's back up to Saturday. I worked all day, finally found my desk under a heap of paperwork, files, to do lists, reminder notes, reports, ideas jotted down, meeting notes....it was out of control! Tomorrow, i shall walk in to a clean office, but likely wreck it by noon.

Last night Danny and i left out for dinner in Sherman. We never took the exit until we got to Choctaw. Two hours later we headed home. Just love that place!

Today...up and out to breakfast. Then ran to Sherman (actually exited this time) Walmart for a big list of items and groceries. Forgot salt, but got everything else. Back home, cooked late lunch, nap on the couch, now watching the Academy Awards. In the first half hour, F bomb was dropped and Anne Hathaway said Jackass. Not good...

Just looked at my calendar for tomorrow.....8am conference call, a visitor from CO flying in, two other morning meetings and nothing for the afternoon....that gives me several hours to wreck my office again!

Not THOSE shoes!

Ring ring.....cell phome (forgive typo's-kinda tired)

Me: Hello. (house phone on caller id of my cell, could be anyone that shares a house with me)

Chelsey: MOooooMmmmm, WHAT did you give to the maide's today?

Me: i gave them the shoes and swearshirt you cleaned out of your closet

Chelsey: (crying and screaming). Those were NOT to give away they were from my car

Me: Chelsey, you said you cleaned your closet of shoes. They had been in a chair in the breakfast nook for 4 days, i assumed i had the right ones.

Chelsey: (beyond hysterical) MOooooooMmmmmm, those were my UGG boots. I wear them all the time. WHY would you think they were to be given away?

Me: again Chelsey, they had been there four days!

Chelsey: (barely able to understand her thru the tears, sobs and screams)WHAT were you thinking?

Me: 4 days in the kitchen? Must ne the right ones!

Chelsey: Mooommmmm, you know........CLICK ( yes, i hung up on her)

Ring ring

Me: helo

Chelsey: Mooommmmmm, WHY did you.....CLICK (yes, i did it again)

Ring ring

Me: WHAT

Danny: next time, ask before you give something away.....CLICK you guessed it)

All this while i am sitting at the cleaners drive thru waiting on the guy to geg all our clothes and put them in the trunk AND i am on blue tooth, so the whole thing is unfolding on speaker.

Me: (speed dial, HOME).

Chelsey: HELLO

Me: you should probably think twice before you call me yelling....i have called the maide's and they will bring all back. CLICK (i did it before she could)

Ring ring.

Me: HELLO

Danny: want to meet us for dinner?

Me: sure, where

Danny: Prosper, Ernesto's?

Me: yes. CLICK

Dinner was very quiet......maide's brought boots back before we even got home. I just threw them in Chelsey's room.

A good Saturday....

Saturday was a pretty good day....Danny, Chelsey and I left out early for oil change, car wash, pedicures and flip flop run at DSW. Oil change for my car, not so good, it seems VW has not released the filters yet, so i have to take it to the dealership to be serviced. Grrrrr! Pedicure for the three of us....we got "Happy Feet" treatment. And let's just say Danny loved it! Hot towels, warm stones, paint brush with oil....it was all good. DSW was next, for our annual flip flop run. I actually bought more shoes than Chelsey, which never happens! Lunch at Jin Bei. Then home for a nap. Danny wakes up saying "Walmart or Academy?". Well...duh...Academy babe. So....off we go to McKinney. We made a fishing gear run. Got me a new riod and reel, minnow buckets, string, hooks, weights, corks, fish basket.... Ate at Hooters. Stopped to see the boys, but they were being tortured by Ashley, stuck in their room at 7pm for giving her a hard time, and both were asleep. I bet they got her up early this morning. ;-)

Today we shall wet a hook for the first time in months. Hope last nights full moon increases our chances of fish for dinner.

Oh....you might be saying, "where was Colby?". He had Saturday school (tutoring) and then played Black Ops with friends all afternoon. When Danny and i got back from McKnney, the friends were here and Colby was gone....to see Shayna in McKinney. I shall ask a few questions about this! Chelsey got home at midnight....she and friends went to Texas Mardi Gras at Fair Park. Yes, Fair Park. Now that she's home safe, it's okay, but while she was gone i was a little nervous about it. She came home with strings of beads and a smile.

Dang..what a week!

Busy busy busy week.....worked late every night. This makes for one tired Pam by Friday! The good news is that we have a 3 day weekend. Well...Danny and i do, the kids have school Monday. And...Danny is off Tuesday, he has 90 hours of comp time...guess the snow was worth it. He didnt get home Sunday, until 1am Monday morning. All the result of a wreck. Hopefully he'll have a quiet few days. I miss him when he's not sitting in his recliner beside me!

Got an email today from the school....registration for next years is Thursday night...our very last one. I can not believe the kids have 3 more months of school and we'll have two Seniors...time sure goes by fast. Prom is in two months. I shutter to even think about it.

Met Danny and Chelsey in Frisco tonight, to watch the Varsity Girls Basketball team in the first round of the playoffs. In O/T, they lost by 3 points. Was a great game, and i think my hands may be bruised tomorrow, from clapping so hard.

Speaking of tomorrow, Danny and i have plans...to go have pedicures. Going to bust out the capris and flip flops!!!! And, i haven't had a pedicure in months. Poor ladies at A&T Nails...they have a lot of work to do tomorrow!

Off to check Facebook, play a little Words with Friends and pass out for the night

Perfect Sunday stopped short...

What a beautiful day! Much needed sunshine was fabulous. Breakfast, grocery store with Danny. He cleaned my car while i shopped. Came back home...dozing on the couch with the windows open. Danny takes his Jeep to wash, while i snoozed. Then he comes back in a rush. He got called in to work at about 3:30....wreck near Lake Lavon, i think he said Collinsville. He's still there with the road shut down, while investigation is being done. He text that a semi hit a small truck and then a motorcycle....one didnt make it and one in bad shape. Hope he gets home soon. We planned our Valentines dinner for tonight, so we'd not have to rush in and cook tomorrow....it was a good plan. And i only thought his crazy work schedule was over with the ice and snow.

Choctaw last night....didnt lose much, was fun to get out.
