Just a little behind...

This past week is a blur....sorry to our loyal followers, that I've missed an entire week of blogging. Let me catch you up with The Fenter Funny Farm. Chelsey and friends have had a photo session (and I think they are BEAUTIFUL!) and Colby has had a scrimmage. Saturday I had mani, pedi, brows, hair cut, bought make up at Macy's, spent 4 hours in class for an upcoming test, made it home in time for the scrimmage, was home before 10:30pm and passed about 5 minutes later. Sunday up and to breakfast with Danny, then off to school clothes shop with Chelsey. Colby told me what he wanted/needed and it took 15 minutes in ONE store, Chelsey on the other hand is a little different. BUT, we did it without a single fight (woohoo!!!) and had a great time. Home that afternoon by 6:30pm and passed out in my recliner 5 minutes later. Up and at it again Monday and somehow it's now Thursday again. Whew....a few pictures below of my beautiful daughter and her pals, Colby and Dallas during the scrimmage, and that's all I got.....enjoy!

The girls, all smiles and not a care in the world (sigh....)

The girls being silly (this I am used too!)

I'm also used to this view....they spend a lot of time
walking in and out of our back door!
Also note, that's probably $1000.00+ of denim your looking at....
buy stock in Buckle! If my butt looked like those, I'd buy a pair!
And another....WOW what a beautiful group!
Have watched most of them grow up before my eyes....

Colby is #77....can you say BIG GUY?

And another of Colby....

And Dallas on one knee (#40), trying to cool off. This was at
5:30pm Saturday and DANG it was hot....I thought for sure
my bra melted while I was sitting in the stands...

Have a nice evening all, and I'll try and not miss an entire week again! XOXO, PF

Summer is about to end....

The kids went to orientation yesterday and received their schedules. I've not looked at Colby's yet, but I know he has Algebra II. Chelsey has Physics and Accounting. Accounting I can probably help with....Physics? Ummm, not so much, not really even sure what it is. LOL.

Tiger (the gray cat) was "neutered" yesterday and Lily got a hair cut. Note that I didn't mention Mia....she has been M.I.A. for about 10 days now... :-(

Hot, hot, hot outside. I had a chip in my windshield, compliments of a rock truck and I met on Preston Road a couple of months ago...the heat is making it split all the way up my windshield.

Have been in classes every afternoon this week, to obtain my license for work. Continues thru Saturday and my test is 8/21 at 8am. I can't remember the past "test" I had to take, should be interesting!

XOXO,
Pam

Inappropriate....

Last night Danny talked to Ashley on the phone....he was laughing so hard, that I could hardly wait for him to get off the phone to tell me what the boys had been up too. Seems that Dylan, Colton and their little buddy down the street found a very interesting web site.....it was full of nature. Lions, monkeys, etc. Not bad huh? Well....the activity was "inappropriate" according to Colton. Inappropriate you might ask? He and Dylan explained that the animals were humping each other. Colton told Ashley that he went and sat on the couch, and was not a party to the web site, but after further questioning, it appears he was a viewer as well.

Papa Danny can't wait to ask them about this......and Nana can't wait to hear the story as well. Oh how we love those boys!

Next to the last time...

This morning I felt yet another pain with the kids....The first Saturday after Two-A-Days start is "pad day." This is the first time, after running, stretching, lifting, puking, all week long, they actually put their pads on and hit someone. The stands have about 100 or so people watching. It's REALLY fun to watch. Unless your me, sitting there thinking that everything I watch Dallas do this year, will be the last....and everything that Colby does this year, will be the next to last.... I can't believe the kids will start school in a little over a week and a half as Juniors!
After practice, I text Colby and said "I LOVE to watch you hit and I LOVE you!!!"
He replied with "Did I do good?" I said "YES....can't believe this is your next to last set of Two-A-Days."
He replied with "I know Mom, High School is going really fast, only two years left."
By this time, tears had formed in my eyes and I replied "I know Son, I know." I just couldn't type anything else.
Just a few pictures of the event......
Colby (left in white, kneeling) and Dallas (right in orange, kneeling)

Everyone getting ready to hit!!!

And the smashing begins!

Not sure my heart can stand very many more texts like that with Colby.....and how I'll do this year as I watch Dallas finish out High School, and Chelsey and Colby get one day closer, every day, to their Senior Year.

XOXO,

Pam

Randomness...

This is post #2 for tonight....I've titled this one randomness, because there are a few things that have made me say hummm... in the past couple of days, so here we go.

Hum....will he REALLY retire this time?

Chelsey said "Hummm, ice cream sure sounds good",
so off to Braum's she and I went, in Van Alstyne

Hummm...why would ONE of our two cedar trees die?
If you look around, as your driving down the road, there
are random dead ones here and there, not just ours.
Hummm...Duke likes to drag up BIG limbs....I've looked at this tree
for two days, wondering if he could have possibly...today I finally ask Danny about it
and he says Dallas brought it over. Hummm, very strange.
Hummm....why on earth would Colby drive down the SIDE of our driveway?
(See the tracks in the grass?)
So that he doesn't get sand on his truck of course! Forget that he smacked
a tree driving down a white rock road a couple of weeks ago.
Hum....it's been a while since I've seen 106 on my outside temp gauge in my car
in my car. I should have taken a picture of the clock, this was at 5:10pm
when I left work!!! First time in almost 3 months that I've left "on time!"

That's the end of my randomness for today.

XOXO, Pam

The Boys of Fall

If you love football as much as I do, this video will make you smile. In the first minute, it shows a team in a circle, they all go down on their stomach at the same time and then back up. That's CELINA!!!! They are on there a bunch in the first couple of minutes and random after that. I CAN NOT WAIT for football season to start!!!!

Go to espnrise.com and click on the #3 down the left hand side, it's 8 minutes, but I smiled the entire time I watched it.

Day two of Two-A-Days....Colby puked, BUT he wasn't the first to do it, he was second... 104 degrees, I'd puke too.

It's a Monday...

Transformer hit or down in the office over night....so, we have no systems this morning. NOT good, but they are working on them.

Colby started Two-A-Days this morning...I just text him with "Puke or no Puke" and he replied "No puke" which is a good thing! This afternoon may be a different story though, going to be really hot!
