YES...two posts in one day!

Well....being cooped up for two days is NOT good for the Fenter Funny Farm. Chelsey and I are not even speaking at this point. Late this afternoon she text for me to come after her at Brookshires. So....off I go in my little car. ICE almost all the way. While at Brookshires, I decided to restock. We finally finish shopping, with Chelsey texting the ENTIRE time, sack it up, load it up and head back home. On the way I am being cautious and she's being impatient (terrible combination). I mean, why did we need to hurry? Arrive home and an hour later she learns there is no school again tomorrow. Sooooo, she thinks she can leave again. NOT happening. Screaming, yelling, pouting, and she's STILL here....much to her dismay. She even had her friend text me begging. NOT happening.

Colby was equally as mad when I told him NO, he could not go to Kevin's. No screaming or fighting, but he's pouting. I figure, if I have to be trapped at home, they may as well be here with me and LOVE IT as much as I do.

Tomorrow morning (probably mid morning) I shall head to Lewisville. I'm going to work, even if I have to drive the Kubota. Come hell, high water, snow or even more ice. I'm a brave bored Mommy tonight...

Danny has been out in it all day again today. I have cooked sloppy joe's, a roast and chicken enchilladas. No one will starve around here...that's for sure.

As for the ice, the driveway is still solid. The yard actually looks like it's covered in snow, but it's crunchy. The curves on 455 are VERY icy. The driveway (the rock part, not the concrete) is crunchy. They say snow on Friday. Sunny Saturday and Sunday and then possibly hit again Monday. This just can't be! I'll be stark raving mad by that time....or happily sitting in a hotel in Lewisville.

Happy Wednesday night to all.....off to walk the floors AGAIN. Oh and wash dishes (AGAIN) as well.

  2. I teach high school, and ALL my kids were talking about how mad they were at their parents when they wouldn't let them go anywhere in the bad weather during our bad weather day. Go figure? Glad there are still some parents with some sense...stay strong! They'll get over it! :)

  3. I agree with Kelly! :-)

Not sure about the pictures. I use Windows Live Writer to do my blog posts (pretty much like using Word but it submits it to the internet when you are ready). I am assuming you actually post through blogger?
