Packers!

Well....all the hype is over. Packers are the winner in Super Bowl XLV. Christina screwed up the words. Jerry got his attendance record. And now we can start thinking about the Cowboys again. And...best of all, the weather held out, so that Danny could watch the entire game at home.

Back to work tomorrow!

No call yet...

Danny got home early last night! Lily and i were glad to see him. And best yet, he's not received a call yet, to go into work. Please please please do not let it snow again. I have missed him this week!

Adult conversation....

I am in desperate need of adult contact.....screaming fight with Chelsey, because she did NOT want to stay home another night. Hell i dont either at this point. SO, i just loaded her butt up and took her up to the school for the play. She's staying with Shelby tonight. And walking home if it gets icy again.

Colby is at Kevins and we had a 1 hour texting battle over him wanting the Jeep tonight. Finally hit send on my cell phone and said he had TWO options....he either comes home OR stay at Kevin's without a vehicle. I am sure he and Kevin are having fun right now...

It's just me and Lily tonight. I love her....she can't talk! House phone not working, line must be frozen....the one Danny cut last year, and patched back together.

We did manage to go to Frisco today, for about 3 hours. Got our eye brows waxed, before we had to start combing them. Walked around the mall. People were everywhere....they must have cabin fever just like i do!

Danny has to work AGAIN tomorrow. The icy mess is returning. Joy joy joy.....

XOXO,
Pam and Lily

Sunshine!!!!!!

the sun is shining bright today, yea! Melt snow/ice melt! Danny is about to leave for work again....he asked me if today is Saturday. Poor guy, he's tired. Hopefully he'll get to be home tomorrow. It's been lonesome around here. Chelsey said we are getting oiut of the house today, no matter what. We've had lots of quality time.....

Off to pack up Danny's lunch. Adding bacon to his sandwiches today, just so he'll have something different.

Melting in C,

A load of laundry

3 jackets, 2 shirts, sweats and tights, 2 pair of socks, 2 pair of gloves and my cheetah print rubber boots.....oh and a hat. After i got all of that on and went outside with Chelsey, the snow wouldnt stick together for a snowman. So....i just walked all over the place, made a snow angel on the hill, traced a line for the driveway and then came in the house. Chelsey bailed when she slid down the hill and snow went up her shirt. Lily looked like a poodle, ice and snow were stuck to her legs amd belly. The lake is frozen and has snow on top of it. Will it thaw tomorrow? Sure hope so....ready for Danny to be home. Going to a bar for a beer...oh how that sounds good!

Stay warm and wish for a heat wave!

Made it!

Made it to work! One hour and fifty minutes this morning, of white knuckle, stiff legged, big eyes driving.... Ice EVERYWHERE. Worst part was getting from home to 380....well maybe it was just all bad. Only took an hour and a half to get home. Keep in mind, this is typically a 45 minute trip!

As i watch the news, Mr Channel 4 is saying SNOW. Good grief, will it ever stop? The kids are out of school tomorrow again. Colby is loving it. Chelsey is about to lose her mind.

Oh....when i got to the last bridge by the house, and looked up the icy hill, i saw a truck pulling a car out of our own ditch. The DEEP part of it....i stopped and let the truck get the car out and then proceeded to the driveway. I didnt kiss the ground, but thought about kissing the garage when i got out of the car.

Now there is a sand truck on the news that slid and rolled on it's side. I think i'll go hide in the bathtub with some bubbles.

Stay warm and as always, love to all!
Pam
