Couldn't go to Oklahoma without stopping by Choctaw on the way home.... Didn't win, but didn't lose too much. Had a great time as always!
Shoots are aboveRace track above
Holding tanks with fish names
Now for the funny part.... It seems that someone decided to put tap water in the holding tanks and the race track, of 9 catfish, only 2 were still alive when we got there. Once was clearly not bothered by the water, the other went into the shute, swan about a foot, and turned back to the shute. Maybe next time we'll see more! Not many people can say they have been to a Catfish Race, so it was worth the beautiful trip to Oklahoma.....
The house survived, but everything on the patio
was NOT in the same place it should have been. Please notice that my
Topsy Turvy tomato plants made it thru! Tons of stuff in the pool! Curved part of the patio by our pool is where two lounge chairs normally sit.
The chairs are now out by the tallest tree you can see behind our garage!
Danny and I set out mid afternoon for a Jeep Road Trip. He asked, "Where shall we go?" My reply? "Surprise me....." So, we took off on Preston Road headed North to Gunter, cut over West to Tioga and then North on 377. Drove around Lake Texoma for a bit. Where did we end up? Madill, Oklahoma... Least we can say we've been there!
