OMG....I can barely move!

Walking just a bit "stove up" at the moment.... Let me summarize my day. Up at 6:30am. Coffee, search internet for jobs (applied for one), off at 7:30:am to hit Crump's Nursery semi annual sale. Bought 13 flats of flowers plus 3 additional potted ones. Back home by 8:30 and hit the flower beds. Had everything planted by 11:30am. Shower, off with Colby to get a burger. Back and out to a big clump of cedar trees behind our barn. Went all the way around it with my clippers. You can now see thru the clump. Made 9 trips in the Kubota, to the old brush pile. Back in for another shower and I am exhausted! If we do wind up having to sell our house, at least someone will come down the driveway and say WOW, look at that! I did when we first bought the property, but it was because of the lake, not the flowers or trees being trimmed! I bet I pass out early tonight.

Colby spent the day running around with Tyler. Chelsey has had a "girls day" with friends and is at a Birthday party now, and then spending the night with Shelby. Dallas is spending time with his parents tonight and has a combine tomorrow.

Danny.....well he's got the chain saws in the shop in anticipation of picking up a couple of laborers on Monday....the plan is to clear out the fence line behind the house, so that we have a full view of the lake. Also having the carpet cleaned. I am anxious for my interview on Tuesday. I have to get back to work, this manual labor is going to kill me!

What a beautiful day!

Friday started out a bit chilly, but ended perfectly....Starbucks, Calloway's Nursery, Crumps Nursery, home to work in flower beds, picked kids up from school, dinner with Danny and asleep in recliner before 10pm.

Didn't buy a thing at Crump's, because TODAY is their semi annual sale....They open at 8am, off to get my shoes on and ready to weed my way thru tons of people to find just the right flowers for the yard! Photos to follow, I'm sure.

The big reveal....

The big reveal....Chelsey's Room is now complete! It looks beautiful!!!
The clock...

Drapes near her vanity

Birthday arrangement from Dallas' Mom.

Wall sconce near closet (of course I put in a little ORANGE!)

The leopard print bedding.

And the wall art as you walk into her room.
My instructions this morning, via text, were to PLEASE text Chelsey when her comforter arrived. Not sure who was more excited....as soon as I saw the box on the front porch, I tore into it, washed and dried the sheets (her request), and put it all in her room. Drapes were a chore, but it's so pretty and best of all she LOVES it!!!! Winner, Winner!

Rubber boots and a little mud!

Ashley and Tazz have been battling a water leak for the past couple of weeks. Today it sprung again... Ashley's neighbor called her and told her water was running down the street again. Danny to the rescue! He went and picked up a couple of laborers and they dug until they found the leak. Ashley is only pretending in the pictures below. Not sure anyone in pink and orange plaid boots could be taken seriously....LOL

Funny thing is....Tazz is now a plumber! When he built fences, their fence blew down.....Maybe he needs to work for the Texas Lottery Commission....

Leopard print...

Chelsey has officially made the switch from girly room to young adult. Out with the turquoise and green and in with leopard print. Ashley and I spent most of the day together, at Garden Ridge, Home Goods, Tuesday Morning and Big Lots, trying to guess what she might like for her room. (It's been years since Ashley and I spent an entire day together, it was really a lot of fun!) All things purchased were a hit, except two pictures we bought. So.....they shall get returned. Her comforter should be here today and we can finish her room. Photos to follow.

Both kids rooms clean and neat at the same time? We shall see....

Spotless!

Colby's room is still SPOTLESS.....course it is because I stalked him when he got home from school. NOTHING on his floor. Everything in it's place. Even our maide was surprised when she arrived today!

Breakfast with hubby, Lowe's for Azalea fertilizer (if they do not look better soon, I'm pulling them up!), home to finish the last of laundry, cooked dinner, scheduled an interview for next Tuesday (yea!), cleaned up kitchen and then relaxed to watch American Idol.

Kinda dull, I know, but INTERVIEW is a great thing!!!

Boring Monday...

What a boring Monday. Made my weekly trip to the grocery store. Back home, unloaded, put it all up, and then to pharmacy to pick up prescriptions....WOW, I'm going to have to pay for Cobra, 4 RX were $242.00. And that does not include one for Chelsey. Next off to school to pick Chelsey up and go after shoes for Prom. Found them on the first stop. Went to the mall for headbands, yea right, that's what Chelsey said anyway...got her a few summery clothes, ran by Taco Bueno and then back home.

And THEN, I had a bit of a FIT with Colby....his room was about as close to a pig pen and I could stand, so he and I (much to his dismay) tore everything out, every piece of clothing, trash, dust bunnies, baseball bats, hats, video games, game controllers, pillows (FINALLY tossed the ones he's had for years, because they were YUCKY!), shoes, towels, the list is endless. Now his room is completely straight. I have 7 loads of laundry going, because I couldn't tell what was clean and what was dirty. I do believe, that no matter how big he is, I'll wear his tail out if it gets in that shape again!

Off to hang up another load of shirts.....

Still no HOT job leads, but I continue to fill out applications almost everyday. I do have a possible lead, that I hope to meet with the President/CEO Monday or Tuesday of next week. I've always joked about being a WalMart greeter someday. May just have to resort to it, but hopefully not!

Pam
