College....(sigh)

Our first piece of mail from a college.....and it's addressed to Chelsey. Can hardly believe it! Maybe Colby will get a few two.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

It seems the more I complain about the cold weather, the worse it gets! I mean REALLY, a foot of snow? I spent Thursday night at the fine Hampton Inn of Plano. The kids escaped school a little before one and had the entire day out on Friday. Above are a few pictures...

What have we been up too?

January has been fairly dull. February, to date, has been about the same. Weather has been too cold to do ANYTHING.... This week weather people are saying below freezing at night and barely 40 during the day. I'm sure I'll look back at this and laugh during the heat of the summer, but I have to say, it will take many days of high temperatures before I'll complain. When Danny and I were leaving the house yesterday, I asked him if it felt like it had been cold/winter/muddy/rainy/YUCK for a year now....

Colby squated 375 on Monday at weight work out. He came in beaming! By Wednesday he had strep throat. Much better now though, thank goodness. He's not very happy when he's sick.

Chelsey has spent most of the week feeling a little crappy too. Sinus infection has about kicked her butt. BUT, it didn't stop her from having visits from Dallas.

Danny is getting a bit of cabin fever with the cold weather. It can't be Spring soon enough for us.

Ready for the Fenter Funny Farm to NOT be one big mud lolly.... Bring out the sun please...

Super Bowl Sunday

Saints vs Colts... WHO WILL WIN? We shall see.... Lazy Sunday around here so far. Colby at Tyler's. Chelsey at Shelby's. Danny on one computer and I'm on my lap top. Lily is outside terrorizing Rebel the cat. And Duke? Let's just say he's taking a nap...

A bet is a bet.... Had to wear a Saints shirt to work today. I'm certain that I've never worn a GOLD shirt before!

First expense with the new vehicles...

Blaming all this one Danny.....Monday morning, day two with C and C's new vehicles and he manages to lock the keys in Colby's truck, with it running. We only have ONE key... Picture this, it's 5:30am and Danny and I are standing in the dark, outside (if you know me well, you know I HATE the DARK) discussing our options... Break a window, try and pry it open with a knife and use a clothes hanger to pop the lock, call Bobcat's (downtown station) and see if they have a slim jim (answer was no) or call a wrecker... We opted for the wrecker. $75.00 and 15 second later the door was unlocked. $225.00 for a second key (due to micro chip blah blah blah). Let's hope things go much smoother from here on out!

8 new wheels...

Saturday January 23, 2010 is a day to remember... Chelsey and Colby are now the proud (gleeming!) new partial owners of their very own rides. The day Danny and I found out we were having twins, my very first thought was OMG....TWO cars to buy. And here they are.
